Pritchard saddlery relies on product descriptions provided by manufacturers of products. We endeavour to keep the product description as accurate as possible, however, we cannot be held responsible for any variations in product specifications between details on our website and goods received by the customer.
Although we hold a lot of products in stock, and generally fulfil 99% of orders from stock, sometimes goods will need to be ordered in especially for a customer.
Due to reasons beyond our control, such as our suppliers being out of stock, this may result in a delay in despatching your order, of up to 14 days. We will contact you before processing any order where this proves to be the case as soon as we are aware of when we can expect to receive the goods.
Receipt of Order
If you have requested a delivery address other than that associated with your credit card, bank account, and / or other than to your registered address, we will require you to provide us with a landline telephone contact number to enable us to confirm delivery details.
We accept payments via Credit/Debit Card through our secure payment gateway, via PayPal and over the telephone with a credit/debit card. Goods will only be despatched upon receipt of cleared funds.

For small good sent via royal mail, orders received before 10.30pm, where goods are in stock, Monday to Friday, we will despatch your goods on the day of order and payment being received by us. For larger items such as rugs, saddles, large orders sent via courier where goods are in stock, Monday to Friday and if order is places and payment received before 1pm it will go the same day for next day delivery. All consignments will be well packaged.
We will always use the most economical method available to deliver to you, one of our appointed couriers, or via the Royal Mail. Please allow up to 14 working days for item to be delivered to UK destination. Our aim is to despatch goods either the same days or next working day.
Postage is free to you the customer if the postage address resides in the Uk and depending on the weight of item and destination it will either go via courier or royal mail first class recorded.
Deliveries via Royal Mail
Small items less than 1.5kg will go via royal mail first class recorded and usually reach their destination within 1-2 working days from posting. Larger items will also be sent via royal mail first class if they are to the Northern Ireland, highlands and islands of Scotland, isle of man or channel islands.
Deliveries via Courier
Pritchard saddlery regrets that, whilst we can guarantee orders placed with us will be despatched within two working day, we cannot be held responsible for our courier's performance. In the unlikely event that our courier fails to deliver within 24/48 hours from the point of despatch, we will work closely with you to ensure your delivery is received as quickly as possible
You will be sent an email advising you of when your order has been despatched.
You will need to be available to sign for the consignment(s). Should you not be available to receive your goods on your delivery day, it is our courier's policy to leave a card at your delivery address, inviting you to contact them to rearrange delivery or alternately they will automatically attempt delivery again on the next working day. The courier will try another once and then return the goods to us. Should you be unavailable to sign for your goods on the third attempted delivery, the courier will notify us that they are unable to deliver your goods. We will email you advising you of this and give the option of redelivery (at extra cost) or a refund less costs incurred for the missed delivery.
Deliveries via other methods
For smaller orders or orders where it is uneconomical to use our courier, we, at our discretion, will use the best methods available to us to ensure your goods arrive promptly, and in good condition. Details of Post and Packing costs are listed with items. Our chosen method may require you to be available to sign for the consignments. You will be sent an email advising you of when your order has been despatched.
Proof of Delivery
Proof of despatch is always obtained for ALL shipments and all items require a signature upon delivery.
We strongly recommend that you inspect all packages at the point of delivery, and do not sign for deliveries where packaging is damaged. Please contact us at if this situation occurs
We will accept returns within 7 days of receipt. We strongly recommend you open and check all boxes upon receipt even if the item is a gift and contact us ASAP if the item is wrong or does not fit.
Please either e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org for a returns code or you can contract us by telephone during office hours on 01443 224370. A returns code must be obtained before item is returned to us to avoid delay in us refunding or sending out an exchange.
Return Carriage Costs
If an item has to be returned to us this cost must be born by the customer we do not refund return postage charges on any item unless it is faulty or wrong item sent by us. Similarly, if the item is returned to us for exchange or repair, the subsequent delivery back to the customer must also be pre-paid by the customer.
We cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged returns, and therefore recommend that you use a tracked delivery service such as royal mail recorded, special delivery or Courier when returning items to us. Goods must be returned in the original boxes/packaging. Due to some items we sell being perishable, we have a rigid policy of only accepting returns within 7 days of you receiving them.
Goods must be accompanied with the Returns number issued to you when the return is authorised by us, which must be marked on the outside of the package and correspondence inside the packaging.
Where a Returns Authorisation number has been given, we guarantee to refund the price of any item returned to us in its original condition that is unsoiled, unused, fit for sale and in its original packing. Upon receipt of the return we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item returned.
All products are covered with the manufacturers standard warranty. We are happy to help anyone who experiences any product defect under the manufacturers standard warranty. Please email us at email@example.com for more information or assistance with warranty claims.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss arising from the products we sell or services we supply. Manufacturers of products should be consulted prior to purchasing to ascertain product suitability. We also suggest trying new products in limited quantities to ascertain suitability for use.
None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected by our policies.
